Ballot Drop Box Locations

Franklin County has ballot drop boxes throughout the county to provide voters with a secure way to return their ballots without the cost of postage.

These secure ballot drop boxes can be found at eight locations in Franklin County. Boxes are open 24 hours beginning 18 days prior to each election and remain open until 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Please note that only some boxes will be opened during certain elections. Scroll down to see which boxes will be available during the current election.

Franklin County will collect the ballots deposited at some locations twice per week due to the usual volume we receive at those locations. Only Franklin County election officials empty ballot boxes.

Ballots Drop Boxes will be available by January 23, 2026
and will close at 8 p.m. on Election Day, February 10, 2026
