Civil and Records Division

There are 8 support specialists that take care of civil and records functions in the sheriff’s administrative office and the corrections office. The duties they perform include but are not limited to the following functions: 

  • Records Management
  • Concealed Pistol Licenses
  • Sex Offender Registration
  • Inmate Classification
  • Property and Evidence
  • Public Disclosure Records
  • Warrant Entry
  • Payroll
  • Operations Files 
  • Civil Processing

The Civil Division carries out the sheriff's office statutory responsibilities to the Superior Court. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Service of civil and criminal subpoenas, summons and complaints, protection and anti-harassment orders
  • Service of other civil and criminal court documents
  • Attaching, maintaining custody of and selling personal and real property
  • Executing court ordered evictions
